The role of therapies in preventative healthcare is becoming more widely acknowledged and Jenisis Healing is working in partnership with companies to aim to actively improve and maintain the health of their workforce.

We provide a clinical approach to alternative therapies which aim to significantly improve physical wellbeing as well as provide mental and emotional balance.

 

It is estimated that up to 75% of illness is stress-related. A recent report produced by the Institute of Management confirms that no less than 270,000 people take time off work every day due to stress-related illness.

 

Stress in the workplace can cause the following problems:

  • Negative effect on abstract planning, decision-making and creativity

Companies in Europe have embraced Reflexology in the workplace and have experienced impressive results:

 

  • Odense Post Office (Denmark) has employed a full time Reflexologist since 1990, the results were a 13.3% reduction in sickness and absenteeism which produced savings of around £100,000 for the business.

  • Ishoj Municipal Health Department (Denmark) recorded 2500 fewer sick hours over a six month period where employees received regular reflexology treatments. This produced savings of around £21,400 for the business.

  • Fonss and Hove, Solicitors in Kolding, found that employees receiving treatment showed greater motivation and enhanced working ability.

  • SAS Cargo estimated a financial saving of £2,000 a month when employees were receiving reflexology.

  • Incentivised by employer for course attendance.

  • Talks from a Jenisis practitioner to educate staff in the benefits of the therapy.

  • Employee working hours could be made to be flexible to accommodate treatment times.

  • A Jenisis Practitioner can visit your workplace for a set number of days per week/month, this can be paid for in whole or subsidised by the Employers or Employees.
